We are delighted to be invited to offer our endorsement to re-elect Jack Dennison to another term on City and Regional Council.

For the past 20 years there has been no stronger and more effective advocate for fiscal responsibility than Jack. He is always easily accessible and most thoughtful in his deliberations.

We urge you to re-elect Jack on October 27th

I would like to thank Jack Dennison for his energetic, informed and well-spoken presence on Burlington's Council.

Long before the boundaries were changed, Jack showed a keen interest in our Ward. He attended meetings and gave unwavering support to the Shoreacres Residents Association and to Friends of McNichol in their desire to save a large lakeshore property from development. His patience and vision has resulted in the creation of the beautiful 14 acre Paletta Park with its restored mansion, woodlands wetland, creek, hiking trail, and waterfront for the enjoyment of all Burlingtonians. Thank you, Jack! We support you as our truly perfect councillor.

Yours truly,

We have known Jack for 24 years and there is no stronger advocate for his constituents and for fiscal responsibility than Jack. His business ethics are exceptional.

As a city/regional councilor for the City of Burlington for 19 years I had the pleasure of working with Jack Dennison on council for my last three years.

With council of seven and the change of at least two, it is very important that Jack be re-elected to continue the stability of Burlington representation at Regional Council.

Dear Councillor Dennison,

Thank you so much for your time in this matter! The new curbs were put in this week at the corner of Palmer and Bentworth, and they look wonderful! Not only that, they make pushing my stroller so much easier , it's like a dream come true.

I think my mom is planning to write a thank-you note to the city as well, but I wanted to add my thanks. It's very comforting to know that our councilor is - well, a real person who's really looking out for his constituents! I know your mail to Mr. Vuk really got the ball rolling in this matter.

Have a great fall! We're really enjoying the nice weather, and the great facilities here- we're out at the swings almost every day with our little fella, and we went to Ribfest yesterday! Yummy.

Anyway, thanks again for your time and effort in this matter.

I saw your flyer in my mailbox with the note attached yesterday, and I am sorry no one was home when you came by.

I think you've done a great job as our Councillor Jack, and your excellent leadership on the General Brock Park Committee has allowed the concerns of local residents to actually be heard by everyone at City Hall. Thanks.

If you have any lawn signs available, please feel free to post one on my front lawn at any time. Regards,

"This is going to catch up to us" warns Councillor about budget

We've had huge base budget increases for the waterfront project. I look at the four and three percent (forecast budget increases) and I don't know how we're going to work that magic.
